Blackberry Launches Z3 Full-Touch Phone

Things are changing at Blackberry as they’ve launched a low-cost full-touch phone. Although this launch is limited for Indonesian market for now, the phone will be launching internationally soon. The Blackberry Z3 sports 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 along with 1.5 GB of RAM. This phone comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card.

Blackberry Z3 comes with 5-inch qHD (540*960) display and 220 ppi. It features 2500 mAh of non-removable battery. The rear camera is of 5 MP which can capture videos upto 1080p. The front camera is 1.1 MP. The aim of this phone is to grow the Blackberry platform especially in Indonesia. Hence the phone is labelled as ‘Jakarta Edition‘. Just two years ago, market share of Blackberry in Indonesia was 40% but now it is only 4%. Samsung is dominating Indonesian market now. 
Blackberry Z3 will be facing tough competition from Moto G, Lumia 630 like phones. It is priced just below $200 (Rs. 12000 Approx.) Till now, it is available in Indonesia only. But soon will be launching in other countries soon.
It will go for sale on May 15 for 2,199,000 Indonesian rupiah ($190) in Indonesia.
