About 2 months after the release of Developer Preview version, Microsoft has released IE 11’s Release Preview for Windows 7 users. This version is not a Modern UI one. It should be noted that Internet Explorer 11 comes preinstalled in Windows 8.1 and in two variants: Modern UI and Simple Desktop UI. The Release Preview comes with following changes:
- Improved overall performance
- New F12 Developer Tools
- Faster page loading
Microsoft has stated that the final version of IE 11 for Windows 7 users will release later this fall. According to Microsoft, IE 11 is 30% faster than other browsers.
