As everyone know Windows 8 comes with a new Start Screen. It is a replacement for Start Menu. To install Modern apps (just like Android and iOS apps), Windows 8 comes with a ‘Store‘ app. You can download various apps available in Store. Now if you want to close an app, what will you do (we are considering a non-touch device)? You can use hot-corners to close apps, you can use task manager, right? Today, in this article, we are going to show you how to close a windows 8 app by drag and drop method from which many users are not aware. Just follow these steps:
1. Open the desired Windows 8 app.
2. Take your mouse cursor on the top of the app and then click and drag it as shown below.
3. Take it downwards (Take your mouse cursor downwards. In the start, the app may not come downward but your cursor should be taken downwards) as shown below .
4. Leave the cursor. That’s it! The app has been closed and start screen will appear.
