Samsung has now officially unveiled Galaxy Tab 4 lineup which like Galaxy Tab 3 comes in three variants: 7-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch. When Samsung moved from Tab 2 to Tab 3, it didn’t do major changes in specs though design received a change like thinner bezels. This time we have seen upgraded processor as well as RAM in Tab 4.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0
This tablet comes with 7-inch of display with resoultion of 1280 * 800 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM. It features 3 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera for voice calling. Storage options are 8 GB and 16 GB and it can be expanded by microSD card. It comes preloaded with latest Android 4.4 KitKat. It is thinner and lighter than its predeccor. Battery Capacity is however unknown.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0
This variant comes with 8-inch of display with a resolution of 1280 * 800. It also features 1.2 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM just like 7-inch variant. It bears 3 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera. The only storage option is 16 GB and the memory can be expanded upto 64 GB using microSD. It has Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled and a battery of 4,450 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.0
The 10-inch variant also has the same resolution i.e 1280 * 800 which is disappointing. Large screens require high resolutions. It comes with the similar 1.2 GHz processor and same 1.5 GB RAM.
The camera on all the three variants is same. The internal memory is 16 GB which is expandable upto 64 GB via microSD card slot. Again, it is running on latest Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with a battery of 6800 mAh.
This lineup will be available in Black and White colors. Pricing information is still not available.
