As most of you know, Microsoft is working on a feature-packed update for Windows 10 labeled as Anniversary update. It’s coming with lots of new features like Windows Ink, Extension support for Edge, Improved Cortana etc. Since Microsoft is calling it Anniversary update, it was expected to be released on 29th July, the day Windows 10 was released back in 2015. But Microsoft has cleared any confusion regarding it. It’s OFFICIAL that Windows 10 Anniversary Update is coming on 2nd of August.
Along with announcing this big news in a blog post, Microsoft also announced that Windows 10 is now installed on over 350 million systems. Microsoft is highlighting Edge, Cortana improvements and Windows Ink as major innovations in this update. Since insider builds are being released continuously, testers are noticing major bug fixes and more stable OS. So this is a major point which makes waiting for the update, worth!
